Every Abyssal has a story. A habit. A comfort. A presence that shapes who they are.

For this starter prompt, draw or write your Abyssal in a moment that feels personal to them. This could be something peaceful, emotional, proud, playful, or even unsettling. You can capture their personality, their environment, or something meaningful in their life.

Ideas to explore:

Your Abyssal holding or interacting with their favorite item

Spending time with a trusted friend, companion, or creature

Resting in a place they feel safe

Showing off an ability, ritual, or daily routine

Interacting with another Abyssal (your own or someone else’s, with permission)

You are welcome to include other people’s Abyssals if you have their explicit permission. Interaction, relationships, and shared moments are highly encouraged.

 

Submission Requirements

Art submissions:

• Must be a clean, colored sketch

• Any style is allowed (soft shading, flat color, painterly, etc.), but colors must be clearly visible

• Both humanoid and feral Abyssals are allowed

• Fullbody, halfbody, or scene compositions are all acceptable

Writing submissions:

• Must be at least 300 words minimum

• NO AI! 

• Can be slice-of-life,  narrative, or descriptive, up to you!!

• Both humanoid and feral Abyssals are allowed
